Multiple Paths to Teaching and Learning
Accelerative Learning creates an inquiry-based, student-centered, humanistic approach for both Teachers and Learners by fostering independent learning with self-guided reading focused in critical thinking skills; weaving all content areas into practical project-based learning with outcomes that create personal insight into history, math, science. and the arts; solidifying the self within the group where transfer of study skills is evident to both teacher and student.
Accelerative learning is a multi-modal, multi-sensory approach. Accelerative Learning takes into consideration different learning styles, as well as all the senses: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic.
One of the methodologies behind Accelerative Learning is Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences.
